About The Position

NOV is seeking a Shop Service Technician to join their team in Broussard, Louisiana. This position is responsible for supporting the service, repair, inspection, and maintenance of ReedHycalog Anderreamers™ while contributing to safe, efficient, and high-quality shop operations. Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in an oilfield shop environment with QC inspection experience required.
  • Commitment to safe work practices and proper use of personal protective equipment.
  • Ability to follow all HSE and quality requirements.
  • Tracker PDM Competency Program
  • Must be able to pass pre-employment screening.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the service, repair, and inspection of Anderreamers.
  • Support the service of NOV ReedHycalog Anderreamers™ in accordance with established procedures and specifications.
  • Safely operate shop equipment, including Torquemaster, cranes, and forklifts, in compliance with HSE requirements.
  • Complete required documentation and data entry throughout the service process.
  • Perform preventive maintenance and inspections on equipment as required.
  • Maintain 5S standards and housekeeping in the work area.
  • Communicate with management regarding equipment issues, tool condition, product concerns, inspection findings, and HSEQ matters.
  • Develop a strong understanding of the repair process to support production and quality objectives.
  • Follow all specifications, procedures, customer requirements, and QC inspection standards.
  • Participate in training and facility HSE programs.
  • Work standard shifts and overtime as required.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by lead personnel and management.
