Shop Service Technician

About The Position
The Shop Service Technician troubleshoots, diagnoses, and repairs Crown and other makes of lift trucks. The technician performs planned maintenance on customer lift trucks, completes paperwork after each job, and performs welding and fabrication.
Requirements
- Less than 2 years of related experience.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
Nice To Haves
- Good mechanical and electrical aptitudes, including knowledge of electrical/electronic systems, hydraulics, and internal combustion engines.
- Ability to read and understand electrical and hydraulic schematics.
- Good written and verbal communication and customer care skills.
- Ability to safely operate lift trucks.
- Technical degree.
- Previous lift truck repair experience.
- Welding experience.
- Knowledge of various types of testing equipment.
- Ability to read and understand service manuals.
- Industry-related training.
Responsibilities
