This role involves conducting all assigned work in a safe manner, adhering to all applicable safety, environmental, and contamination control policies, procedures, and regulations, while wearing proper personal protective equipment. The technician will maintain a minimum set of tools required for job performance to diagnose, disassemble, and assemble components to manufacturer’s specifications. They will attend and successfully complete required technician training classes. Key responsibilities include diagnosing and performing designated repairs on customer or company-owned equipment, encompassing mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic troubleshooting, maintenance, and repairs. The role requires working in the assigned area in a neat and orderly fashion, constantly seeking improvements in work methods, the work area, and safety standards. Additionally, the technician will research repair needs, order parts, and complete required documentation using appropriate software to record repairs and account for repair times. A positive approach to work and supportive conduct towards the team are essential, contributing to team efforts by accomplishing tasks on time while maintaining safety and quality expectations. The position also involves assisting with maintaining proper facility appearance and shop conditions by following contamination control guidelines, including housekeeping, and performing other general maintenance duties. Other duties as assigned.
