This role is responsible for conducting all assigned work in a safe manner, adhering to all applicable safety, environmental, and contamination control policies, procedures, and regulations, while wearing proper personal protective equipment. The technician will maintain a minimum set of tools required for job performance to diagnose, disassemble, and assemble components to manufacturer’s specifications. They will attend and successfully complete required technician training classes. The primary duties involve diagnosing and performing designated repairs on customer or company-owned equipment, including mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic troubleshooting, maintenance, and repairs. The technician will work in the assigned area in a neat and orderly fashion, constantly looking for ways to improve methods of work, the work area, and safety standards. This includes researching repair needs, ordering parts, and completing required documentation using appropriate software to record repairs and track time. The role requires approaching work in a positive manner, maintaining supportive conduct within the team, and contributing to team efforts by accomplishing tasks on time while upholding safety and quality expectations. Additionally, the technician will assist in maintaining proper facility appearance and shop conditions by following contamination control guidelines, performing housekeeping, and other general maintenance duties. Other duties as assigned.
