About The Position

Build Your Skills. Work with the Best. Stay for the Career. As a Shop Technician in our Earthmoving Division, you’ll work on a wide range of Caterpillar and allied equipment. This role involves diagnosing and troubleshooting mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems, repairing, rebuilding, and overhauling major components, and performing inspections and preventative maintenance. You will also be responsible for disassembling and reassembling equipment and systems, completing service reporting and documentation, and staying current with evolving tools and technology while working safely and collaboratively with your team.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of heavy equipment or diesel technician experience (or Diesel Tech degree)
  • Strong knowledge of engines, hydraulics, electrical, and drivetrains
  • Solid diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Basic computer skills (service systems & documentation)
  • Your own tools
