About The Position
We are seeking experienced Shop Pipe Welders/Fabricators for a growing commercial mechanical contractor in Round Rock, Tx. This position is based in a fabrication shop and involves building carbon steel and galvanized piping systems ranging from 2" to 12" diameter for construction projects.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of pipe welding and fabrication experience
- Experience with carbon steel
- Proficient with TIG, MIG, and Flux Core welding procedures
Responsibilities
- Fabricate and weld carbon steel and galvanized pipe assembles
- Read and interpret blueprints, spool sheets and isometric drawings
- Measure, cut, bevel, fit and assemble piping systems
- Perform TIG, MIG and Flux core welding
- Operate shop-equipment and maintain a safe work environment
- Ensure all work needs quality and production standards
