About The Position
The Shop Operator I will work under general supervision and perform moderately complex and intricate operations and processes. This position is for the night shift of 7 pm - 7 am, 11 days on and 3 days off, working every other Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. The role is deemed safety sensitive and may be subject to employer or customer drug testing.
Requirements
- High school education or equivalent
- Able to complete required documentation
- Able to repair equipment
- Understanding testing equipment and criteria
- Working knowledge of hand tools and power tools
Responsibilities
- Follow all safety policies and company-wide safety requirements; encourage action assuring safe behavior; confront unsafe behavior and conditions proactively and positively
- Regularly and predictably attend work and be punctual
- Work in an unsupervised environment
- Use a computer to communicate, create and access information
- Interact politely and professionally with customers and/or co-workers
