Job Summary Performs hands-on maintenance in the shop/yard of our Midland Facility. Ensure equipment is ready for rent. Perform troubleshooting/assessment and work up to performing repair work on heavy equipment. On-the-job training is provided.

Nice To Haves

Experience with Caterpillar machines, pipeline specific equipment and pumps/pumping related equipment preferred but not required.
Experience with service programs such as CAT E.T & John Deere Service Advisor preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

Clean, lubricate, and perform other routine maintenance work on all Griffin equipment
Dismantle and reassemble pumps using hoists and hand tools, as needed.
Operate and inspect pumps to diagnose and trouble shoot problems ranging from mechanical to electrical
Overhaul and test machines or equipment to ensure operating efficiency.
Examine parts for damage or excessive wear, repairing and replacing damaged or worn parts as needed, including replacing seals and or rebuilding the units.
Test mechanical products and equipment after repair or assembly to ensure proper performance and compliance with manufacturer’s specifications.
Keep accurate records of all work performed, including parts used and labor hours.
Communicate effectively with customers and colleagues, providing clear and concise information and explanations.
Work safely and efficiently, adhering to all Griffin Fluid Management safety protocols and best practices.
Perform other duties as assigned by management.
