Job Summary Performs hands-on maintenance in the shop/yard of our Midland Facility. Ensure equipment is ready for rent. Perform troubleshooting/assessment and work up to performing repair work on heavy equipment. On-the-job training is provided.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Caterpillar machines, pipeline specific equipment and pumps/pumping related equipment preferred but not required.
  • Experience with service programs such as CAT E.T & John Deere Service Advisor preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Clean, lubricate, and perform other routine maintenance work on all Griffin equipment
  • Dismantle and reassemble pumps using hoists and hand tools, as needed.
  • Operate and inspect pumps to diagnose and trouble shoot problems ranging from mechanical to electrical
  • Overhaul and test machines or equipment to ensure operating efficiency.
  • Examine parts for damage or excessive wear, repairing and replacing damaged or worn parts as needed, including replacing seals and or rebuilding the units.
  • Test mechanical products and equipment after repair or assembly to ensure proper performance and compliance with manufacturer’s specifications.
  • Keep accurate records of all work performed, including parts used and labor hours.
  • Communicate effectively with customers and colleagues, providing clear and concise information and explanations.
  • Work safely and efficiently, adhering to all Griffin Fluid Management safety protocols and best practices.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.
