About The Position

Bean Automotive Group is hiring a Shop Manager for West Kendall Toyota in Miami, Florida. The Shop Manager oversees technicians, assists with challenging automotive diagnostic problems, enforces safety procedures, and communicates with Toyota/Lexus to help maintain an efficient, smoothly operating shop. The role requires maintaining strong Lexus technical knowledge and supporting high-quality, first-time repairs.

Requirements

• Advanced manufacturer’s training.
• ASE and manufacturer’s Master Certifications.
• Maintain factory-required training and local licensing requirements.
• Excellent organizational and managerial skills.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Prior experience managing a staff of at least 20 employees.
• Successful completion of a drug and background screening, including MVR.

Responsibilities

• Assist and support service technicians with diagnosing and repairing vehicles.
• Maintain maximum shop efficiency and productivity.
• Maintain a high level of Lexus technical knowledge.
• Promote a high level of “Fix it right the first time.”
• Perform random quality checks on work performed by technicians.
• Communicate consistently with Lexus through conference calls with FTS, DSM, and the technical support line.
• Oversee technicians and enforce safety procedures.
