About The Position

Bean Automotive Group is hiring a Shop Manager at West Kendall Toyota in Miami, Florida. The Shop Manager oversees technicians, assists with complex automotive diagnostics, enforces safety procedures, and communicates regularly with Toyota/Lexus to help maintain an efficient, smoothly running shop. The role requires strong technical knowledge, organizational and managerial skills, and experience managing a staff of at least 20 employees. Employment is contingent on successful completion of drug and background screening, including an MVR review.

Requirements

• Advanced manufacturer’s training.
• ASE and manufacturer’s Master Certifications.
• Maintain factory-required training and local licensing requirements.
• Excellent organizational and managerial skills.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Prior experience managing a staff of at least 20 employees.
• Successful completion of drug and background screening, including MVR.

Responsibilities

• Assist and support service technicians with diagnosing and repairing vehicles.
• Maintain maximum shop efficiency and productivity.
• Maintain a high level of Lexus technical knowledge.
• Promote a high level of first-time repair quality (“Fix it right the first time”).
• Perform random quality checks on technicians’ work.
• Communicate consistently with Lexus through conference calls with FTS, DSM, and the technical support line.
• Enforce safety procedures.
