About The Position

Take 5 Oil Change is hiring a Shop Manager to lead a shop location and ensure the team follows Take 5 standards. Experience is valued but not required; paid training is provided in shop management, oil changes, replacing wiper blades and air filters, filling tires, and other light maintenance services. Managers may advance quickly, with responsibility for team execution of these standards within 60 days. Experienced managers can earn $55,000 or more through base salary and bonus opportunities.

Requirements

Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
Ability to maneuver in and out of a shallow, 3-foot-deep pit to position safely under cars.
Ability to walk, stand, bend, stoop, twist, and perform activities involving holding, grasping, pulling, and turning for extended periods.
Willingness to work in hot or cold weather conditions if necessary.
Reliable transportation to and from the shop.
Willingness to work early hours and up to 55 hours per week on occasion.
Basic computer operating skills.

Experience managing a shop or leading teams in oil change shops, restaurants, retail stores, or other businesses; experience is valued but not required.

Responsibilities

Recruit, interview, onboard, and train new crew members.
Create crew schedules and submit payroll.
Control inventory, including conducting End of Period and End of Year inventory.
Place product orders and physically restock inventory as needed.
Understand shop financials, drive results, and use the budget wisely.
Conduct quarterly employee evaluations.
Support crew members with oil changes and other auto services.
Drain motor oil, change oil filters, and perform other auto services as necessary.
Provide excellent customer service.
