About The Position
Take 5 Oil Change is seeking a motivated and customer-focused Shop Manager to lead our team at Shop#251 located at 4826 S. Sooner Road. With over 35 years of experience, Take 5 Oil Change is a trusted neighborhood oil change provider known for friendly technicians, expertise, and efficient service that allows customers to remain in their vehicles. We offer a clear growth path, with over 90% of field leaders promoted internally. This role is ideal for individuals with strong leadership potential, whether they have prior management experience or are looking for an opportunity to grow with us. We provide comprehensive paid training, covering all aspects of shop management and light automotive services. Successful candidates can advance quickly, taking on team accountability within 60 days. We welcome individuals from diverse backgrounds, including those with experience in restaurants, retail, mechanics, and other trades.
Requirements
- Must be able to lift to fifty (50) pounds
- Must be able to maneuver in and out of a shallow 3’ deep pit to position yourself safely under cars
- Must be able to walk, stand, bend, stoop, twist, etc. for extended periods of time and perform activities involving holding, grasping, pulling, and turning
- Must be willing to work in hot/cold weather conditions if necessary
- Must have reliable transportation to and from the shop
- Must be willing to work early hours and up to 55 hours per week on occasion
- Must have basic computer operating skills

- Experienced managers can earn $55,000 a year or more with our base salaries and bonus opportunities

Responsibilities
- Recruiting, interviewing, onboarding, & training new crew members
- Creating crew schedules & submit payroll
- Controlling inventory: Conduct End of Period (EOP) and End of Year (EOY) inventory
- Placing product orders and physically restocking inventory as necessary
- Understanding the shop’s financials to drive results and utilize budget wisely
- Conducting quarterly employee evaluations
- Supporting crew members with duties such as changing oil and performing other auto services
- Drain motor oil, change oil filters, and perform other auto services as necessary
- Providing excellent customer service
