About The Position
Take 5 Oil Change is seeking a motivated and customer-focused Shop Manager to lead our team at Shop#882 in 1224 Jet Dr. We are a well-established company with over 35 years of experience, known for our friendly technicians and efficient, in-car oil change process. We offer a clear growth path, with over 90% of our field leaders being internal promotions. This role is ideal for individuals who are people-oriented, driven, and possess leadership qualities. While experience is valued, it is not strictly required, and we offer paid training for all new hires. Experienced managers can earn $55,000 or more annually through base salaries and bonus opportunities. We welcome individuals from various backgrounds, including those from other oil change shops, restaurants, retail, and other businesses. Opportunities for Assistant Manager or Manager-in-Training roles are also available for those with no prior experience.
Requirements
- Must be able to lift to fifty (50) pounds
- Must be able to maneuver in and out of a shallow 3’ deep pit to position yourself safely under cars
- Must be able to walk, stand, bend, stoop, twist, etc. for extended periods of time and perform activities involving holding, grasping, pulling, and turning
- Must be willing to work in hot/cold weather conditions if necessary
- Must have reliable transportation to and from the shop
- Must be willing to work early hours and up to 55 hours per week on occasion
- Must have basic computer operating skills

Responsibilities
- Recruiting, interviewing, onboarding, & training new crew members
- Creating crew schedules & submit payroll
- Controlling inventory: Conduct End of Period (EOP) and End of Year (EOY) inventory
- Placing product orders and physically restocking inventory as necessary
- Understanding the shop’s financials to drive results and utilize budget wisely
- Conducting quarterly employee evaluations
- Supporting crew members with duties such as changing oil and performing other auto services
- Drain motor oil, change oil filters, and perform other auto services as necessary
- Providing excellent customer service
