About The Position

Take 5 Oil Change is hiring a Shop Manager to lead a shop location and its crew. Experience is valued but not required; the company offers paid training in shop management, oil changes, replacing wiper blades and air filters, filling tires, and other light maintenance services. The role includes opportunities to advance, and managers may earn up to $55,000 or more per year through base salary and bonus opportunities. The manager is expected to become accountable for the crew’s execution of Take 5 standards in less than 60 days.

Requirements

Able to lift up to 50 pounds.
Able to maneuver in and out of a shallow 3-foot-deep pit and safely position under cars.
Able to walk, stand, bend, stoop, twist, and perform activities involving holding, grasping, pulling, and turning for extended periods.
Willing to work in hot or cold weather conditions when necessary.
Reliable transportation to and from the shop.
Willing to work early hours and up to 55 hours per week on occasion.
Basic computer operating skills.

Responsibilities

Recruit, interview, onboard, and train new crew members.
Create crew schedules and submit payroll.
Manage inventory, including conducting End of Period and End of Year inventory.
Place product orders and physically restock inventory as needed.
Understand shop financials, drive results, and use the budget wisely.
Conduct quarterly employee evaluations.
Support crew members with oil changes and other auto services.
Drain motor oil, change oil filters, and perform other auto services as necessary.
Provide excellent customer service.
