About The Position
GreenWaste is looking for a motivated, dependable Shop Maintenance Utility Person to join their team. This position is based at 14207 Del Monte Blvd. in Marina, CA, with limited job-related travel required. The main function of this role will be to perform routine and extensive grounds keeping and building maintenance duties and upkeep with the facility/yard.
Requirements
- Ability to perform routine groundskeeping, facility upkeep, and basic building maintenance tasks.
- Knowledge of safe work practices when using cleaning supplies, tools, and maintenance equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas.
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions and complete assigned tasks with limited supervision.
- Dependable, punctual, and able to adapt to changing operational needs and priorities.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills when supporting drivers, shop staff, and other departments.
- Valid Driver’s License (Class C)
- Proficiency in English
Nice To Haves
- Spanish language skill is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Clean yard/offices/shop (i.e., pull weeds around the property, pick up trash, sweep, mop)
- Wash equipment/vehicles/bins/carts
- Maintain Oil Waste Station
- Maintain Wash Stations
- Swap out trucks if needed to route drivers and help drivers as needed with route assignments
- Other duties may be assigned.
