About The Position

We are actively looking for an enthusiastic and driven individual to join our team in a Shop Helper role. This position will be an integral part of daily operations, tasked with a variety of activities ranging from general cleanup and shipping to saw cutting and waterjet operation. While this is an entry-level position, there is ample opportunity to progress for the right individual.

Requirements

Mechanical aptitude, desire to tinker and understand how things work.
Strong communication and soft skills.
Strong organizational, planning, and scheduling skills.
Adaptable to rapidly changing and evolving environments.
Creative approach to problem-solving.
Must be legally entitled to work in Canada.
Must be a Canadian citizen, a Permanent Resident of Canada, be an approved refugee or have a Canadian open work permit to be allowed to work in Canada.

Responsibilities

General shop maintenance/cleanup (topping up coolant in the machine shop, recycling management, material organization).
Material preparation (operating saw/waterjet, deburring stock/parts).
Assistance in shipping/receiving and inventory management.
Lending an extra set of hands wherever needed on any given day.
