About The Position

The Shop Helper / Stock Room Assistant will provide support for daily operations in the store and stockroom. The ideal candidate will assist with receiving, organizing, and distributing stock, as well as helping maintain a clean and safe work environment. This is an entry-level position with opportunities for growth. We are looking for someone to: Help with daily work in the store and stockroom. Receive, organize, and hand out stock. Keep the area clean and safe. Start in a beginner-level role with chances to grow in the company. Details: This is an in-person, part-time role. Location: 13141 N Enon Church Road, Chester, VA 23836

Requirements

High school diploma, GED, or Applied Studies Diploma.
Able to read and do basic math.
Good communication skills and works well with a team.
Reliable, on time, and pays attention to details.
This job may involve lifting items (up to 50 lbs) and standing for long periods.

Nice To Haves

Experience in a warehouse, retail, or stockroom is helpful, but not required.
Forklift certification is a plus.
Enjoy working with your hands.
Like keeping things organized and neat.
Don’t mind lifting, moving, or sorting items.
Pay attention to details and notice when something is out of place.
Feel proud when a space is safe, clean, and running smoothly.
Work well as part of a team and are willing to help out where needed.

Responsibilities

Follow all safety rules and be careful while working.
Support the company’s safety efforts.
Report right away if you see anything unsafe or if there is a “near miss” (an event that could have caused an accident but didn’t).
If an accident happens, even if the injury looks small, tell the EHS Director (Environmental, Health and Safety Director) right away.
