About The Position

The Shop Foreman will work alongside the Service Advisor to greet customers, write repair orders, and estimate repair costs. This role involves managing technicians, scheduling repairs for maximum efficiency and quality, and communicating with customers about repair scheduling. The Foreman will also inspect and road test vehicles to ensure quality repairs, manage daily truck maintenance operations for performance, repair, and safety, and organize daily work for shop mechanics. Additionally, the role includes reviewing completed work for quality compliance, hiring and recruiting shop staff, enforcing health and safety policies, maintaining records, and managing the Driver Vehicle Inspection Program.

Responsibilities

Hiring/recruiting qualified shop staff.
Enforce all health and safety policies of the company.
Record keeping, filing, and GPS tracking.
Maintain Driver Vehicle Inspection Program.
