About The Position

Four Star Freightliner is looking for a Shop Foreman to join their team in Valdosta. They emphasize a family atmosphere and investing in employees, leading to high retention and expertise. Requirements

• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Able to motivate and manage personnel
• Knowledge of safety regulations and industry standards
• Knowledge of shop equipment and tools
• Able to troubleshoot and resolve issues quickly and efficiently
• 3+ years of experience in shop or service Lead tech and or Shop Foreman, preferably in Diesel repairs
• Strong leadership and organizational skills
• Technical knowledge of diesel systems and repair procedures
• Proficiency in shop management software and basic computer skills
• Valid driver’s license
• CDL plus

Responsibilities

• Oversee the shop staff and equipment, ensuring that all operations are being carried out in accordance with company policies and safety regulations
• Ensure that production is running efficiently and that all materials and products meet quality standards
• Train and supervise shop staff, providing guidance and feedback as needed
• Monitor the progress of projects and ensure that deadlines are met
• Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that may arise
• Implement new processes and procedures as needed
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure the smooth and efficient flow of operations
