About The Position

Vector Fleet Management, an Amerit Fleet Solutions company, is seeking a Heavy-Duty Shop Foreman, day shift to join our team in the Mount Pleasant, SC area. If you have at least five years of proven Heavy Duty Diesel Shop Foreman experience or have graduated from a Trade School for Mechanics, Vector Fleet Management wants to hear from you! CDL “A or B” is PREFERRED! Compensation: Competitive salary pay – paid weekly, every Friday! Salary range: $70,000-80,000 per year depending on experience & certifications! Shift: Monday-Friday 8am-5pm

Requirements

  • Minimum of five years hands-on experience as a Shop Foreman.
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Working knowledge of MS Office, with a focus on Outlook, Excel and Word.
  • Proven track record as a self-starter.
  • Strong customer service orientation.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Problem analysis and problem resolution at both a strategic and operational level.
  • Complete set of hand tools and wheeled tool box suitable for daily use.
  • Acceptable driving record.
  • Pass drug test and background check.

Nice To Haves

  • CDL “A or B” is PREFERRED!
  • Graduated from a Trade School for Mechanics.
  • Shop Foreman with OEM training.
  • Emergency Vehicle Training.
  • ASE certifications.

Responsibilities

  • Manage multiple technicians in a shop environment.
  • Perform preventive maintenance, diagnoses and repairs on Heavy Duty Diesel equipment.
  • Absorb and learn FMIS system.
  • Adhere to company policies.
