About The Position

As the 2nd Shift Foreman, you will have a dual-role opportunity to drive production and manage an efficient, profitable shop while coaching the next generation of technicians. Relying on your technical experience, company-provided leadership training, and high expectations, you will develop a mission-driven team capable of meeting the incentive-driven goals of the shift—maximizing both the shop’s performance and your own leadership potential. This role is for the Diesel Mechanic Leader who wants to transition from turning wrenches to building people.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of Heavy-Duty Truck Diesel Technician/Mechanic experience
  • The desire to lead, teach, and grow into a Service Manager
  • A "Team-First" attitude

Responsibilities

  • Drive production and manage an efficient, profitable shop
  • Coach the next generation of technicians
  • Develop a mission-driven team capable of meeting the incentive-driven goals of the shift
  • Mentor Apprentices and see them level up under your guidance
  • Conduct road tests and spot checks to ensure "ATG Quality" is delivered every time, eliminating comebacks
  • Utilize state-of-the-art diagnostic equipment to provide the technical expertise and complex troubleshooting required to finalize our most challenging repairs
