About The Position

M.E.S.O., Inc. is seeking a Shop Equipment Mechanic to support construction and industrial equipment customers across the Southeast. The role involves maintaining and repairing a variety of equipment, diagnosing problems, documenting service, sourcing parts, and providing safe, high-quality customer service. The company provides mobile equipment service, fleet maintenance, and repair solutions to construction, oil and gas, utility, and manufacturing customers.

Requirements

At least 5 years of technician experience repairing and maintaining construction equipment.
Strong mechanical background, including experience with various engine types, hydraulic and electrical systems, and construction equipment.
Experience using diagnostic tools and an advanced understanding of schematics and diagrams.
Own tools applicable to the position.
Strong teamwork, verbal, and written communication skills.
Commitment to safe, superior customer service as a top priority.
High school diploma and valid driver's license.
Ability to pass a background check, drug test, and DOT physical.
Acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).

Nice To Haves

Aerial equipment experience.

Responsibilities

Perform maintenance and repairs on mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and diesel systems across a variety of equipment.
Use independent judgment to diagnose and resolve issues efficiently.
Use diagnostic tools to identify and troubleshoot equipment problems.
Complete accurate service documentation as needed.
Order parts from vendors as required to complete repairs.
