About The Position

M.E.S.O., Inc. is seeking a Shop Equipment Mechanic to support construction and industrial equipment customers across the Southeast. The position is suited to an experienced technician who can perform precise repairs, diagnose equipment problems, and help keep equipment safe and operational. M.E.S.O., Inc. provides mobile equipment service, fleet maintenance, and repair solutions to customers in the construction, oil and gas, utility, and manufacturing industries throughout the Southeast. The company emphasizes responsiveness, accountability, and long-term customer relationships.

Requirements

At least 5 years of technician experience repairing and maintaining construction equipment.
Strong mechanical background, including experience with various engine types, hydraulic and electrical systems, and construction equipment.
Experience using diagnostic tools and an advanced understanding of schematics and diagrams.
Own tools applicable to the position.
Strong teamwork, verbal, and written communication skills.
Commitment to safe, superior customer service.
High school diploma.
Valid driver's license.
Ability to pass a background check, drug test, and DOT physical.
Acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).

Nice To Haves

Aerial equipment experience.

Responsibilities

Perform maintenance and repairs on mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and diesel systems across a variety of equipment.
Use independent judgment to diagnose and resolve issues efficiently.
Use diagnostic tools to identify and troubleshoot equipment problems.
Complete accurate service documentation as needed.
Order parts from vendors as required to complete repairs.
Provide safe, superior customer service on every job.
