As a Shop Coordinator at Applied Industrial Technologies, you will use your strong customer service and conveyor belt technical skills to train, implement, and execute rubber products marketing programs. You'll spend time interacting with our team of Account Managers and their customers to determine their rubber products / conveyor needs and then help to meet that need. You will have a direct impact on customer satisfaction, retention, and sales results! Coordinate projects from start to finish that are built or completed by the fabrication/service team. Report to the team on the status of the project(s) weekly including any part delays that may cause an interruption in the production schedule. Work closely with the sales team to ensure the project(s) meet the customers' requirements and keep the customer updated on delivery schedules. This will include reviewing submitted projects for accurate and complete requirements using a third party project management software Enter customer orders in the ERP system that have extensive bills of materials, request quotes from vendors Expedite orders and also creating service manuals for projects that are built.
