About The Position

Global- a 1st Flagship Company, a woman-owned small business and a leader in Marine Support Services and Emergency Management, is seeking a Production Manager to join their team in Philadelphia, PA. As a trusted Prime Contractor for the Department of Navy since 1964, the company manages, operates, and maintains the U.S. Navy Inactive Ship fleet. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on military vessels and make a significant impact in a dynamic environment.

Requirements

A four (4) year college degree with at least three (3) years managerial experience in ship maintenance related activities OR 10 years of ship maintenance related experience with at least five (5) years of which was involved in managerial responsibilities.
Must have a valid state driver's license.
Must be qualified to operate government/company vehicles in accordance with the Corporate Vehicle Safety Manual.
Requires the ability to obtain a DoD Secret Security Clearance.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement cost-effective processes for maintenance, subcontract management, and safety.
Ensure accurate estimating and cost control for projects.
Oversee timely project execution.
Plan, coordinate, and supervise all maintenance tasks, including ship movement, deactivation, preservation, and reactivation.
Ensure compliance with safety, health, environmental regulations, and physical security standards.
Manage budgets and schedules.
Provide weekly performance updates to the Project Manager.
Maintain strong interdepartmental and customer relationships.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Foster employee engagement and provide training.
Enforce company policies and core values.
Implement disciplinary actions as needed.
Mentor team members.
Ensure effective communication with all stakeholders.
Professionally represent the company.
Travel, including international travel, may be required.
