About The Position

Global- a 1st Flagship Company, a woman-owned small business and a leader in Marine Support Services and Emergency Management, is seeking a Production Manager to join their team in Philadelphia, PA. As a trusted Prime Contractor for the Department of Navy since 1964, Global manages, operates, and maintains the U.S. Navy Inactive Ship fleet. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on military vessels such as destroyers and aircraft carriers in a dynamic and innovative environment.

Requirements

A four (4) year college degree with at least three (3) years managerial experience in ship maintenance related activities OR 10 years of ship maintenance related experience with at least five (5) years of which was involved in managerial responsibilities.
Must have a valid state driver's license and be qualified to operate government/company vehicles in accordance with the Corporate Vehicle Safety Manual.
Ability to obtain a DoD Secret Security Clearance.

Responsibilities

Ensure top performance in maintenance, subcontract management, and safety through strong leadership and management.
Develop and implement cost-effective processes, accurate estimating, and cost control.
Ensure timely project execution.
Oversee planning, coordination, and supervision of all maintenance tasks, including ship movement, deactivation, preservation, and reactivation.
Ensure compliance with safety, health, environmental regulations, and physical security standards.
Manage budget and schedule.
Provide weekly performance updates to the Project Manager.
Maintain strong interdepartmental and customer relationships.
Drive continuous improvement, employee engagement, and training.
Ensure adherence to company policies and core values.
Enforce discipline, mentor employees, and communicate effectively.
Professionally represent the company with all stakeholders.
Travel, including international, may be required.
