About The Position

Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is currently seeking a Shipside Operation Specialist (Level 2 or Level 3) to join the Fabrication South Carolina (FSC) Emergent Operations Team located in North Charleston, South Carolina on Shift 2. Use technical knowledge, understanding of process flow, and networking skills to ensure issues are addressed and resolved by responsible support organization. Conducts assessments of processes and practices for comparison to applicable standards and criteria. Analyzes and interprets data. Provides feedback on assessment results. Assist organizations in identifying reoccurring and high impact issues. Supports root cause analysis and corrective action plan to address reoccurring and high impact issues. Facilitate ongoing coordination and tracking of open items. Provide guidance and coaching to less experienced teammates. Works under general direction.

Requirements

  • 1+ years of Aerospace, Fabrication, or Manufacturing experience
  • 1+ years of experience with operations analysis or operations research
  • 1+ years of experience with root cause analysis and corrective action
  • Must have analytical, communication, and problem solving skills
  • 1+ years of higher education and/or related work experience (Higher education includes college, university, technical school, licensing/certification programs, etc.)

Nice To Haves

  • 1+ years’ experience utilizing Microsoft Office applications such as SharePoint, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Project
  • 1+ years’ experience in the airline/aerospace industry
  • Experience working with customers
