About The Position

The Operational Team Lead oversees and guides warehouse employees to achieve goals and maintain high quality standards. The role combines technical expertise, leadership, and effective communication to support team success. The lead coordinates and supports team members, provides training and knowledge resources, and has no direct reports or supervisory responsibility. The role may also perform other related or unrelated duties as assigned through on-the-job training.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent, and/or a combination of experience and education.
At least 2 years in a manufacturing and/or distribution setting, with some leadership responsibilities.
Prior leadership experience.
Prior forklift experience.

Nice To Haves

3–5 years in a manufacturing and/or distribution setting, with some leadership responsibilities.

Responsibilities

Partner with leadership on employee scheduling, labor efficiency, work instructions, and throughput.
Collaborate with other area leads and supervisors to facilitate cross-training and develop employees’ knowledge across multiple skill sets.
Implement work instructions to keep employee knowledge and accuracy up to date.
Collaborate with purchasing, the production scheduler, and shipping to monitor and maintain accurate inventory levels for all parts.
Communicate maintenance issues and repair or replace consumables as needed.
Act as a positive leader and mentor by demonstrating and instructing desirable behaviors and skill sets.
Serve as the initial point of contact and primary support resource for employees, addressing and resolving issues they encounter.
Perform other related or non-related duties as assigned through on-the-job training.
