About The Position

The Warehouse Lead works closely with the Warehouse Supervisor to support efficient warehouse operations. The role oversees timely receipts and shipments, maintains inventory transaction controls, trains and develops new hires, and assists with the rollout and operation of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS). It also supports safety and compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), promotes professionalism, and helps maintain accuracy in picking, shipping, and receiving.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to work without direction.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Detail-oriented, with a focus on accuracy and the ability to multitask.
• Ability to continuously lift objects weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to sit, walk, bend, push, and pull.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience in warehouse operations or a related field.
• High skill in operating a standup forklift and electric pallet jack.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate support teams and monitor incoming and outgoing shipments.
• Transact shipments and receipts in Business Central and JIT support systems in real time.
• Assist with implementing and operating Warehouse Management Systems, providing feedback and troubleshooting as needed.
• Ensure support teams follow inventory transaction processes to improve accuracy and minimize discrepancies.
• Report variances and errors to the supervisor and inventory control teams.
• Help trace and correct inventory discrepancies.
• Enforce safety guidelines and food safety standards.
• Monitor and improve pick, shipment, and receipt accuracy through KPIs and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Train and mentor new warehouse team members on best practices and safety protocols.
• Maintain professionalism and foster a positive, productive team culture.
• Maintain clear communication with warehouse team members, supervisors, and other departments.
• Maintain an active physical presence on the warehouse floor as required.
• Manage projects from initiation through completion with minimal direction and supervision.
