About The Position

The Shipping/Warehouse Associate is responsible for pulling, verifying, packaging, and shipping whole good orders. The role includes staging shipments, producing bills of lading, scheduling and dispatching shipments, and loading trucks and containers. Additional duties include restocking and labeling inventory, monitoring warehouse Kanban cards, securing loads to minimize freight damage, and maintaining warehouse organization. The associate may flex to the parts warehouse department as business demands shift.

This is a first-shift position, Monday through Friday, from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. The pay rate is $20 per hour, and a $2,000 sign-on bonus is paid within the first six months of employment.

Requirements

• Collaborate and communicate effectively with team members to help meet department goals and objectives.
• Be self-motivated and understand the importance of time constraints.
• Demonstrate organizational skills and excellent attention to detail.
• Have basic computer skills, including Excel, Word, and Internet use.
• Be able to read and follow shipping instructions.
• Be able to operate a forklift and overhead hoist safely and orderly.
• Be flexible with work schedules and overtime hours.
• Be able to regularly lift at least 40 pounds and bend, squat, walk, or stand for long periods.
• Have at least a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent schooling with relevant work experience.

Nice To Haves

• 1–3 years of applicable work experience.
• At least 2 years of forklift experience.
