Shipping Tobacco Merger
About The Position
Responsible for Merging/Wrapping all pallets and staging at right spot. This role involves placing totes on grocery pallets, scanning totes, and merging them using an RF Gun. The individual must ensure products remain intact and report any damaged products to the supervisor or lead. Maintaining a clean and safe work environment, including the floor and delivery area, is crucial. The position also requires accountability for company assets and providing daily task accomplishments to the supervisor before the end of the shift. Additional tasks assigned by the supervisor may also be required.
Requirements
- Certified on all equipment necessary to perform duties
- Good communications skills
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- Prolonged walking and standing for 8 continuous hours including but not limited to a concrete or tile surface
- Product replenishing which includes frequent bending, stooping, crouching, reaching, balancing, pushing and pulling
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs. or more
