About The Position

The Merger is responsible for securing the merchandise for shipment and loading it safely, and in the proper sequence. This role involves preparing pallets for shipment, merging inter-branch shipments, unloading trucks, and maintaining a clean work area. The position also requires adherence to safety and inventory guidelines, and assisting in other warehouse departments as needed.

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Must be able to lift items weighing up to 65 lbs.
• Must pass Drug Test and Background Check.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.
• Basic math skills and legible handwriting
• Required bending, stooping, reaching, twisting, lifting, pushing, pulling and moving items with need to lift and move bulky and heavy items without assistance up to 75 pounds.
• Ability to follow instructions and complete required training
• Ability to work independently and/or as a team member

• Bi-lingual a plus but not required
• Pitco Electric Pallet Jack.

Responsibilities

• Stacks, secures and shrinks wraps pallets in preparation of shipment.
• Responsible for the merge of all Inter-Branch shipments.
• Unloads all trucks of empty pallets and debris.
• Sweeps and cleans the merge area after work.
• Follows all safety and security procedures.
• Follows all established inventory preparation guidelines and requirements.
• Assists in other departments of the warehouse as necessary.
