The Shipping Technician II receives materials from the shipping dock, transfers them to the storeroom, and uses forklifts and hand trucks for material movement. They issue materials to point-of-use (POU), allocate and pick orders, deliver items to departments, and perform accurate cycle counts in AS400. They also organize pallets and blue bins for storage or vendor return and assist with Shipping Technician I duties as needed. Support supply chain operations by safely and efficiently handling materials according to Standard Work. Follow all environmental, health, and safety guidelines and maintain 5S+ standards. Use material-handling equipment to load/unload trucks and place or deliver materials. Identify process-improvement opportunities and perform root-cause analysis when needed. Follow safety policies, WSRA requirements, and PPE guidelines; report safety concerns promptly. Perform visual quality inspections and follow standard operating procedures. Cross-train and support other roles, including receiving and shipping tasks. Maintain inventory accuracy using supply chain systems and scanners. Receive materials and load/unload trucks as required. Operate a forklift to complete job duties. Organize empty pallets and bins and maintain a clean, orderly area.
