Requirements

Required High School diploma or equivalent
Strong knowledge with computer-based shipping/receiving systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meeting deadlines.
Strong organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a high attention to detail.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong ability to work independently.
Familiar with standard concepts, practices and procedures within this field.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor’s degree in business or related field.
Minimum of two years’ experience in a supervisory or leadership role.
Previous experience in Oracle.
Warehouse/Inventory control background.

Responsibilities

Lead and supervise team members within the shipping department, including assigning tasks, providing direction, and offering hands-on support to ensure efficient daily operations.
Ensure accuracy of ISO standards and work instructions, collaborating with the team to maintain compliance with established processes.
Train team members on effective cycle counting, quality inspection, inventory auditing, part identification, movement, and timely shipping within the system.
Collaborate with Department Manager and Human Resources on hiring, promotions, performance evaluations, and provide coaching and corrective feedback to department employees.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure on-time product delivery and adherence to the daily shipping schedule.
Oversee loading/packing of outbound containers/trucks to ensure Quality standards and procedures are met.
Assist in packaging outbound shipments to department specifications as needed.
Work alongside the Warehouse and Assembly Material Handling Supervisors, providing backup support when needed.
Perform timely and accurate system transactions, relative to shipping and material handling activities, to ensure compliance to the published work instructions.
Maintain inventory accuracy and ensure production lines stay on track.
Troubleshoot reported shipping/material handling issues or discrepancies and implement process changes to continuous improvement.
Promote a safe work environment by monitoring and enforcing safety rules and regulations.
Leverage data analytics to make strategic and tactical business decisions.
