About The Position

This role is responsible for filling orders, counting, loading, and unloading product on incoming trailers according to the shipping schedule. The position requires the ability to exert force to use a hand truck to transport stacked products weighing up to 400 pounds a distance of up to 300 feet continuously throughout the day into and out of transport trucks, and up and down 30-degree slopes. It also requires the ability to stoop, bend, and lift product containers weighing 20 pounds from floor level up to 7-1/2 feet.

Requirements

High School or GED
Demonstrated ability to read, comprehend and record information applicable to the job.
Ability to exert the force necessary to use a hand truck to transport stacked products weighting up to 400 pounds a distance of up to 300 feet continuously throughout the day into and out of transport trucks, and up and down 30-degree slopes.
Ability to stoop, bend, and lift product containers weighing 20 pounds from floor level up to 7-1/2 feet.

Loads and unloads to appropriate distribution area to ensure that shipping schedules are met.
Maintains cleanliness of work area.
Performs other duties as directed by supervisor.
Ensures compliance with all company policies and procedures (EEO, Sexual Harassment, Safety, Sarbanes Oxley, etc.).
Performs other duties which are deemed by management to be an integral part of the job, including but not limited to fulfillment of work schedules, adherence to attendance policies, and other applicable operating rules, policies and procedures.
