About The Position

This is a temporary to permanent position located on-site in Pleasanton, CA. The Shipping Specialist is responsible for the physical and administrative tasks involved in the shipping, storing, and distributing of materials, parts, supplies, and equipment. This role involves preparing and maintaining records of merchandise shipped, and preparing and assembling kits. All work is subject to additional requests as assigned by the Department Manager.

Requirements

High School Diploma or GED
Computer proficiency
1-2 years of experience in a warehouse environment

FedEx, UPS, and DHL experience
International Shipping experience

Responsibilities

Ship outgoing shipments.
Prepare shipments, move shipments, label shipments, build boxes for shipments, and operate the pallet jack.
Print paperwork for shipments.
Maintain inventory of kits and shipping supplies based on order points with the purchasing/inventory team.
Perform data entry using spreadsheets, third-party systems, and ERP software (preferably Microsoft GP).
Manage work orders and all supporting documentation.
Pick and pack material ensuring order accuracy.
Enter work order information into the computer system and give approval that the order was received.
Work with ERP software to manage inventory.
Ensure inventory in the shipping area is accurate by performing regular cycle counts.
Meet deadlines, goals, and performance metrics for on-time order processing.
Troubleshoot any Natera-site delivery or pickup related carrier issues.
Identify, count, and stock materials, and maintain records of goods received.
Build kits for outgoing shipments according to current bill of materials.
Perform other duties as assigned.
