About The Position

Sage is looking for a Shipping Specialist to prepare packages and process incoming shipments for domestic customers. This requires use of computers, emails, scanners and other material handling equipment. Our Mission is making the world more Sustainable by extending the life of electronics. The Shipping Specialist is responsible for the picking, packing, and shipping of Cell phones, tablets, and other consumer electronic devices to enterprise customers and direct to consumers. This role will work in a fast-paced production environment and must be able to do multiple job functions. This role requires a high attention to detail, the ability to follow procedures, and has a low margin for error. Familiarity with UPS, FedEx, and freight shipments is required. Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Excel and the ability to learn proprietary shipping and warehouse management systems, are essential.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year of shipping, logistics, warehouse, fulfillment, or distribution experience required.
• Familiarity with UPS, FedEx, and freight shipments is required.
• Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Excel and the ability to learn proprietary shipping and warehouse management systems, are essential.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with UPS WorldShip, FedEx Ship Manager, or similar shipping platforms preferred.

Responsibilities

• Separates and orders according to standard operating procedures and customer specifications.
• Accurately pick, pack, verify, and prepare customer orders for shipment.
• Create shipping labels and process shipments using UPS, FedEx, and freight carrier systems.
• Verify product quantities, serial numbers, shipping addresses, and order documentation prior to shipment.
• Processes parcels utilizing automated and proprietary shipping systems
• Maintain accurate reporting and databases to support the tracking of each shipment.
• Work well in a team environment.
• Help maintain the shipping/receiving areas in a clean and orderly manner.
• Cross-train to assist Production departments.
• Other duties as assigned.
