About The Position

This role is responsible for various tasks within the shipping room, focusing on the efficient and safe handling of products. Key duties include selecting products for loading, managing trailer loading and unloading, completing necessary paperwork, and operating equipment such as palletizers, forklifts, and clamp trucks. The position also emphasizes continuous improvement in work processes, team skills, and technical abilities. Assistance in all department areas and training of new associates may be required. The role requires the ability to work in a cold environment and learn all aspects of the cooler operations. A strong commitment to safety, teamwork, and company mission is essential.

Requirements

Ability to operate sit down forklift and clamp truck
Ability to lift up to 50+ pounds
Ability to pull 180-200 pounds across a slick surface
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
Ability to work nights, weekends, holidays and extended hours
Continual bending, reaching, pulling, carrying, lifting, and walking
Excellent safety work habits
Ability to read, write and perform basic math
Ability to perform steady and productive work for an extended period of time
Willingness to assist other team members in other areas
Ability to work independently with little supervision
Good time-management, problem-solving and analytical skills
High level of maturity, discretion, tact and judgment
Ability to work in a cold environment
Ability to learn all aspects of the cooler
Good human relation skills (the ability to work well with others and be a team member)
