About The Position
CAB Signs is a wholesale sign manufacturer serving sign companies across the country. We are looking for a reliable, detail-oriented Shipping & Receiving Associate to help keep products moving accurately and on time. This is a hands-on position for someone who enjoys staying busy, takes pride in their work, and uses common sense to solve problems.
Requirements
- Reliable attendance
- Strong attention to detail
- Comfortable lifting and moving materials
- Able to read paperwork and follow instructions
- Organized and self-motivated
- Basic computer skills
- Uses common sense and asks questions when something doesn't look right
Nice To Haves
- Shipping or warehouse experience
- UPS WorldShip experience
- Manufacturing or sign industry experience
- Forklift experience (not required)
Responsibilities
- Create shipping labels using UPS and other carriers
- Package and prepare outgoing orders
- Receive incoming deliveries and materials
- Move and organize large sheets of material
- Verify quantities and paperwork
- Stage jobs for production and shipping
- Keep shipping and receiving areas organized
- Report damaged or missing materials
- Assist with inventory organization
- Help the production team when needed
