About The Position

The Shipper/Receiver is responsible for organizing, processing, and coordinating the shipment and receipt of materials and finished goods while maintaining warehouse standards and ensuring operational efficiency. This role involves preparing and packing finished goods for customer orders, as well as packing and processing shipments for export to other facilities. The Shipper/Receiver will also be responsible for receiving, inspecting, and verifying deliveries against purchase orders, and accurately managing orders, stock, and material movements using SAP. A key aspect of this role is to follow shipping instructions and documentation requirements precisely, perform finished goods inventory and cycle counts, and complete daily freight spreadsheets. Coordination with shipping companies for pickups and generation of Bills of Lading (BOL) using platforms like Kuebix are also essential. The role requires interpreting and executing order instructions based on SAP documentation, maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work environment, and ensuring compliance with warehouse standards, organization, and safety protocols. Operation of forklifts, JLG lifts, and portable scanners may be required, with a continuous focus on improving the work environment for safety. Other duties as assigned will also be part of the responsibilities.

Requirements

High School Diploma or GED.
2-3 years Shipping/receiving experience.
2-3 years UPS and FedEx Shipping Software experience.
Forklift/MHE experience required.
Basic computer skills to operate production related software and maintain digital records.
Demonstrates a commitment to safety by adhering to OSHA standards.
Maintains focus in potentially hazardous environments.
Meet the physical demands of the role, including static pull strength of 84 lbs., push 60 lbs., lift 50 lbs.

Nice To Haves

Familiarity with SAP/Microsoft Office is a plus.
CDL Certification a plus.

Responsibilities
