Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• 1+ years of forklift experience within a manufacturing operation
• Prior experience in warehouse, shipping/receiving, pulling and staging orders, loading trucks, transport documentation and inventory control
• Ability to work all shifts and overtime as needed
• Ability to lift 50 pounds

Responsibilities

• Pulling orders of product from the warehouse and loading the product into trucks for shipping.
• Unloading product from trucks to be stored in warehouse bays using an industrial powered truck (forklift).
• Verifying accuracy of all incoming/outgoing product, as well as bay and inventory accuracy.
• Following all Graphic Packaging International work rules, code of conduct, and safety procedures and policies, including wearing required personal protective equipment (steel-toed shoes, hearing protection, safety glasses).
• Supporting the production floor through pickup and delivery of product.
• Properly staging orders and executing the storage of finished goods.
• Learning and understanding SAP applications regarding inventory, production, and shipments.
• Knowing and understanding all shipping and receiving protocols and procedures.
• Maintaining equipment and performing required safety checks and cleanings.
• Maintaining a safe and clean environment inside and outside of the facility.
• Organizing and maintaining organization in all warehouse areas.
• Climbing in/out of the forklift frequently throughout the work shift (one step up/down into/out of the cab).
• Walking throughout warehouse areas (surfaces are mostly concrete).
• Performing pushing/pulling activities.
• Working in a high-paced and multi-task environment.
• Working with minimal supervision.
• Performing all other duties that may be assigned.
