About The Position

TWG is a group of industry-leading producers of quality winches, hoists, gear drives, and electronic monitoring systems for global industrial applications. The Jenks, Oklahoma facility houses the Tulsa Winch, Rufnek, Greer, dp Winch, and Gear Products brands. TWG is known worldwide for innovative, high-quality products and solutions delivered on time, serving diverse applications in oil and gas, utilities, towing and recovery, construction, offshore cranes, marine, forestry, and mining. This position reports to the Warehouse Supervisor and involves manufacturing operations for shipping, receiving, and material handling of TWG products.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Must be able to travel as required and/or directed.

Responsibilities

  • Prepares and ships products as required.
  • Receives, unpacks, and examines incoming shipments, rejecting damaged items, recording shortages, and corresponding with shippers to rectify damages and shortages.
  • Compares identifying information and counts, weighs, or measures items of incoming and outgoing shipments to verify information against bills of lading, invoices, orders, or other related documents.
  • Loads, unloads, and moves materials using hand truck, forklift, or other devices as directed by the manufacturing supervisor.
  • Maintains inventory of shipping materials and supplies.
  • Sorts parts and pieces utilizing the Company's inventory record system.
  • Distributes material from shipping/receiving to the warehouse or to other departments in the shop as needed or directed.
  • Maintains accurate and timely transactions in the ERP system.
  • May be required to train other employees and help in other departments as directed.
  • Follows ISO procedures, initiates action to prevent problems, documents quality problems, contributes to problem solutions, verifies implementation of solutions, controls further processing when a problem is identified, protects the environment, including preventing pollution, and analyzes or identifies areas for correction or improvement.
