About The Position

Quad Franklin is looking for a shipping and receiving Technician to join our team! This role is the heartbeat of warehouse operations, ensuring accurate, on-time, and well-maintained incoming and outgoing goods. The technician will communicate with mills, manage shipments, and contribute to a safe and efficient workspace.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Comfort operating equipment like forklifts and pallet jacks.
Strong attention to detail.
Basic math and solid problem-solving skills.
Clear communication—both written and verbal.
Comfort using computers and inventory systems.
Ability to juggle tasks and work independently.

Nice To Haves

2–3 years of shipping/receiving experience.

Responsibilities

Communicate with mills to keep shipments on track and on time.
Review incoming shipment notices and double-check details.
Send shipping paperwork to the appropriate recipients.
Receive materials and returns, verifying accuracy against expectations.
Track inventory by logging quantities, tagging products, and organizing pallets.
Identify and quarantine questionable products.
Collaborate with Logistics and CAM to resolve inventory issues and discrepancies.
Load and unload trailers.
Build and organize pallets of finished goods.
Maintain warehouse cleanliness, safety, and operational efficiency.
Train and mentor teammates.
Assist wherever needed to support teamwork.
