Williams International has an exciting opportunity for a Shipping & Receiving Specialist to join our team.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED is required
  • Knowledge of shipping instructions for commercial packages
  • Must be able to obtain an explosive handling permit and a certification for shipping dangerous goods
  • Must have or be able to obtain a Hi-lo License and use a pallet jack
  • Must have a valid drivers license and be able to pass a DOT medical exam to drive a commercial vehicle
  • Must be self-motivated and take initiative
  • Must have basic computer skills and be familiar with Microsoft Windows and Office, including Excel
  • Physical lifting requirements include; ability to lift 50 pounds (4 inches to 25 inches), capable of pushing or pulling a weight of 60 pounds, a grip strength of at least 50 pounds, and be able to reach above the shoulder (65 inches above floor level, minimum)
  • U.S. citizenship is required
  • Position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Government Security Clearance, if needed. Candidates selected may be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.

Nice To Haves

  • 1+ years prior related work experience in Inventory and/or warehousing preferred
  • SAP experience is preferred

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and package sub-assemblies or finished engines to ship to customers, vendors or other corporate locations, both nationally and internationally.
  • Responsible for receiving and signing in incoming freight and parcel as well as packaging and shipping outgoing materials.
  • Responsible for monitoring shipping and packaging supplies and is required to drive the company vehicle for pickups and deliveries.
  • Hardware picking or other warehousing jobs as required
