Requirements
- MUST have forklift experience
- High school or GED
- 2-4 years of related Shipping and Receiving experience
- Experience with shipping domestic and international using third party systems (ex: FedEx, UPS)
- Computer skills using PC and radio frequency devices; understanding warehouse operations
- Candidate needs to be able to stand, lift (up to 50 pounds), bend/squat, push/pull
- Pallet jack experience
Responsibilities
- Under direct supervision, the Shipping & Receiving Specialist will have the following key responsibilities: Lift, unpack and check goods received against purchase orders or invoices, maintains record of received goods. Receives internal PO’s requested via email.
- Transfer material into storage locations.
- Pick and deliver Accessory work orders and raw material stock requisitions to various departments.
- Operates hand and powered material handling equipment.
- Load, unload, delivers materials, chemicals and other products including 55-gallon drums. Stacks, stores chemicals in chemical shed and maintains rotation of drums to ensure first in first out stock.
- Pick/pack prepare hazardous & nonhazardous, domestic & international customer orders for final shipment to the customer.
- Cycle counting and physical inventory.
- Prepare Hazmat documentation.
- Coordinates with freight-forwarders/carrier activities
