About The Position

The Shipping & Receiving Specialist IV will manage the flow of materials, products, and equipment. This role is responsible for ensuring that all incoming and outgoing shipments are handled correctly, efficiently, and safely for our customers or other locations. Requirements

• High school diploma.
• Strong proficiency in inventory management software, warehouse management systems, and ERP platforms.
• Experience in utilizing UPS and FedEx shipping systems, as well as third-party logistics platforms with in-depth knowledge of international shipping requirements.
• Knowledge in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs.), stand for long periods, and perform repetitive tasks.
• Meticulous attention to detail in verifying shipment details and inspecting items for quality and accuracy.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact with carriers, suppliers, and internal staff.
• Previous forklift certification.

• Associate / bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university, professional Degree.
• 1-3 years of experience in related industry.

Responsibilities

• Unload trucks and other delivery vehicles, inspect packages for damage, and verify that the contents match the packing slip and purchase order.
• Accurately document all received items and report any discrepancies or issues.
• Package finished products for shipping, including building crates, shrink-wrapping pallets, and ensuring all items are secure to prevent damage during transit.
• Create and print shipping labels, packing lists, and other necessary documents.
• Complete transactions in ERP system.
• Maintain accurate records of all materials and products in the shop's inventory.
• Use inventory management software to track stock levels, perform regular cycle counts, and assist with physical inventory audits.
• Keep detailed logs of all shipping and receiving activities, including shipment dates, tracking numbers, and delivery confirmations.
• Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, following all safety protocols and procedures, especially when handling electrical equipment.
• Pull parts from inventory, issue to work orders.
• Pull parts for sales orders and stage for shipping.
• Attendance at work during the regularly scheduled shift, including the ability to work overtime as required, to be present at work, arrive on time and be at the workstation ready for work at the start of the shift.
