Requirements

• GED or equivalent.
• Minimum of (3) years of experience in a manufacturing shipping environment, both loading and unloading trucks.
• Minimum of (3) years of experience working on sit down forklift, for at least 6 hours a day.
• Basic computer knowledge, able to use ERP and Microsoft programs for paperwork generation, load planning, and inventory management.
• Able to lift maximum of 50 lbs.
• Able to follow directions as instructed.
• Time management skills with ability to adjust with changes.

Responsibilities

• Check outbound orders for defects and accuracy according to order specs.
• Prepare BOLs, COAs, and other shipping paperwork.
• Move freight, stock, or other materials to and from storage or production areas, loading docks, delivery vehicles, or containers, by hand, pallet jack, and forklift.
• Attach identifying tags to containers or mark them with identifying information.
• Ensure safe and accurate loading of box trailers or other delivery vehicles.
• Unload raw materials from inbound trucks or other delivery vehicles.
• Verify accuracy and product specifications of orders received.
• Assists with month end inventory.
• Manage warehouse space, organization, 5S, and cleanliness.
• Any other duties as needed.
• Maintain forklift certification.
