Requirements
- GED or equivalent.
- Minimum of (3) years of experience in a manufacturing shipping environment, both loading and unloading trucks.
- Minimum of (3) years of experience working on sit down forklift, for at least 6 hours a day.
- Basic computer knowledge, able to use ERP and Microsoft programs for paperwork generation, load planning, and inventory management.
- Able to lift maximum of 50 lbs.
- Able to follow directions as instructed.
- Time management skills with ability to adjust with changes.
Responsibilities
- Check outbound orders for defects and accuracy according to order specs.
- Prepare BOLs, COAs, and other shipping paperwork.
- Move freight, stock, or other materials to and from storage or production areas, loading docks, delivery vehicles, or containers, by hand, pallet jack, and forklift.
- Attach identifying tags to containers or mark them with identifying information.
- Ensure safe and accurate loading of box trailers or other delivery vehicles.
- Unload raw materials from inbound trucks or other delivery vehicles.
- Verify accuracy and product specifications of orders received.
- Assists with month end inventory.
- Manage warehouse space, organization, 5S, and cleanliness.
- Any other duties as needed.
- Maintain forklift certification.
