This role is responsible for completing warehousing, inventory control, receiving, shipping, product identification and traceability, and proper material handling and storage tasks with minimal supervision. The position also involves assisting with the Inventory Cycle Count Program and completing tasks for the In-coming materials inspection program. The employee will utilize a continuous improvement program, initiate Engineering Change Requests, and comply with hazardous waste management and ISO9001 Quality Management System requirements. Maintaining workplace organization for a safe and suitable work environment is crucial. The role requires compliance with all safety, health, and environmental regulations, policies, and procedures to achieve zero incidents and injuries. Consistent communication with internal and external individuals, adherence to company policies, and participation in special projects or work assigned by the Supervisor are also key aspects of the position. Additional responsibilities may include assisting in managing the Equipment Maintenance Program, participating in the Plant Safety Program, aiding other departments as needed, and participating in Small Group Improvement Activity Teams, daily Team Meetings, and Team Exercise sessions. The employee is required to identify opportunities for improvements and submit them in accordance with the Continuous Improvement Program.
