Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required
- Previous experience in shipping, receiving, inventory control, or warehouse operations required
- Experience using inventory management software and Microsoft Office applications
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to accurately count, record, and track inventory
- Good communication and problem-solving skills
Responsibilities
- Receive incoming shipments and verify quantities against purchase orders and packing slips
- Inspect incoming materials for damage and report discrepancies
- Accurately enter inventory transactions into inventory management systems
- Prepare and process outgoing shipments, including packaging, labeling, and documentation
- Maintain accurate inventory counts through cycle counts and physical inventory audits
- Organize and stock materials in designated warehouse locations
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely
- Coordinate with purchasing, production, and customer service teams regarding inventory availability
- Monitor inventory levels and notify management of shortages or replenishment needs
- Ensure compliance with company safety policies and warehouse procedures
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
